Country that claims to be democratic has acquired news station in an attempt to exert more control over the news media. If you said this sounds like Russia you would be right and If you said this sounds like Bush's Republican Party you would also be right. Kremlin acquires oldest daily paper.

Republicans acquire control of Public Broadcasting

Why did the FDA hold back on Mad Cow information? Could money be the answer? Mad Cow case goes under the radar.

The Uzbek people recently rose against their oppressive government and the Uzbek security forces responded with enough gunfire to kill between 700 and 1000 protesters. The number may never be known because the United States helped block an international probe into the incident. U.S. hinders Uzbek massacre investigation.

Defense Department interrogators impersonated State Department and FBI officials. Defense Department interrogators must have known they were performing illegal interrogations because they used FBI and State credentials when they went to Gitmo
Defense Department torture incognito.

I love to watch Bush jump "Double Dutch" on issues. Bush criticized Iran's election process today yet says nothing about Saudi Arabia nor Egypt's obviously flawed governments. Perhaps its those pesky three letters that consistently bias Bush's judgment and behavior; OIL. Flip Flopping

White House changes its tune from "more study is needed" to "Global warming is unavaoidable" as the U.S. pressures G8 members to cut originally stated stricter standards. U.S. arm twists G8 to change environmental statements

Here is just one more reason the world considers Bush's rule of law becomes a joke. Italian reporter Carlo Bonini uncovers proof that a secret Italian police agency and american agents kidnap people from Italian streets and "outsourced" them to be tortured. Just one more example

Has Bush finally given in to the terrorists? There have been a couple of reports that there are "back channel" communications going on between the U.S. and Iraqi insurgents. U.S. Deals with Iraqi terrorists

The policy of "Don't ask don't tell" policy has migrated to the FDA recently when they declined to answer Democrat's questions pertaining to latest Mad Cow episode and the inspector general's office would not comment. The Agricultural department also stated that the diseased animal are not be a threat because they said so. What, me worry?

The United States helped block an international inquiry into the shooting of hundred's of protesters by Uzebekistan's security guards. This is all despite of Condoleezza Rice's public statements that international involvement in an inquiry into the killings was "essential." Some feel that the U.S. would rather let Uzbekistan kill unarmed protesters rather that risk the loss of an American air base and rendition of Iraqi's to Uzbek torture.Torture R Us

Republican Chairman James Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.House) takes a page from Bill'O'Riley's book as he turns off Democrat's mikes when he did not agree with what he heard at a House Judiciary Committee hearing. Republican Sensenbrenner does a Bill O'Riley.

Secret British briefing memo identifies Bush's plan for Iraq war shows inadequacy of Bush war planning and insufficient justification for occupying Iraq. More prewar memos uncovered

Figures don't lie but liars can figure. Bush and Patriot Act supporters continue to cite inflated numbers of "terrorists" and types of crimes, that the Patriot act has helped with. A total of 39 have been convicted and most of them were convicted of minor infractions such as making false statements and violating immigration laws; nothing which has anything to do with terrorism. More pants on fire

Can't we just all get along? After dropping thousands of tons of bombs on the country, imprison torture and killed thousands Iraqi citizens, Bush wants Europe and Arab countries to help the Shite and Sunnis work things out.Bush asks Europe and Arabs for help
