Country that claims to be democratic has acquired news station in an attempt to exert more control over the news media. If you said this sounds like Russia you would be right and If you said this sounds like Bush's Republican Party you would also be right. Kremlin acquires oldest daily paper.

The Uzbek people recently rose against their oppressive government and the Uzbek security forces responded with enough gunfire to kill between 700 and 1000 protesters. I love to watch Bush jump "Double Dutch" on issues. Bush criticized Iran's election process today yet says nothing about Saudi Arabia nor Egypt's obviously flawed governments. Perhaps its those pesky three letters that consistently bias Bush's judgment and behavior; OIL. Flip Flopping
White House changes its tune from "more study is needed" to "Global warming is unavaoidable" as the U.S. pressures G8 members to cut originally stated stricter standards. U.S. arm twists G8 to change environmental statements
Here is just one more reason the world considers Bush's rule of law becomes a joke. Italian reporter Carlo Bonini uncovers proof that a secret Italian police agency and american agents kidnap people from Italian streets and "outsourced" them to be tortured. Just one more example

Has Bush finally given in to the terrorists? There have been a couple of reports that there are "back channel" communications going on between the U.S. and Iraqi insurgents. U.S. Deals with Iraqi terrorists
The policy of "Don't ask don't tell" policy has migrated to the FDA recently when they declined to answer Democrat's questions pertaining to latest Mad Cow episode and the inspector general's office would not comment. The Agricultural department also stated that the diseased animal are not be a threat because they said so. What, me worry?
The United States helped block an international inquiry into the shooting of hundred's of protesters by Uzebekistan's security guards. This is all despite of Condoleezza Rice's public statements that international involvement in an inquiry into the killings was "essential." Some feel that the U.S. would rather let Uzbekistan kill unarmed protesters rather that risk the loss of an American air base and rendition of Iraqi's to Uzbek torture.Torture R Us
